The Community Acupuncture Clinic is based at the Burley Lodge Centre
and operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise. The Clinic is
run by registered members of British Acupuncture Council, who comply
with its Code of Practice and stringent requirements on hygiene
and safety.
The main difference between Community Acupuncture and treatment
in a private clinic is that patients are treated in a community
setting. Sharing a large, peaceful treatment room allows us to reduce
our overheads so that we can offer acupuncture on an affordable
basis to the whole community.
Privacy is maintained as the treatment is given using acupuncture
points below the knee and elbow and patients remain fully clothed.
Many people prefer a community setting because they find it more
relaxing.
The clinic operates on Tuesdays 10am - 12 noon.
Please contact Burley Lodge Centre for appointments (tel: 0113 275
4142).
